Founder’s Letter.

“When I was young, I would often find it difficult to exercise my interest in politics. Adults didn’t really care about what I had to say, and, in contrast to the opportunities for people interested in STEM, there would not be as many chances to act on my passion, especially in a small country such as Lebanon.

The youth, no matter how looked down upon they are, have an importance in society that cannot be understated. As cliché as it is, the world is their inheritance. Their voices, ideas, and actions hold immense potential for driving change, addressing challenges, and creating a sustainable future. In a world where history does not learn from itself as often as it should, empowering the youth is a responsibility for all of us.

And so, Gen-F was founded, standing for Generation Forward, an independent non-profit initiative, which values collaboration above all else. More than individualism, we need cooperation. More than I, we need We.

Through Generation F, we aim to provide a platform for open dialogue, where young individuals can express their opinions, engage in constructive discussions, and explore diverse perspectives. We encourage critical thinking, active citizenship, and a deep sense of responsibility towards the betterment of our communities and the world at large.
